Open a PSD file: Mood Board PSD Files
To edit one of the grey rectangle/ellipse colors
Each rectangle or ellipse is a Smart Object: This means you can easily customize them without altering the integrity of the mood board.
Select the rectangle or ellipse you would like to add a color to.
On the right-hand side under Properties it will say edit contents > click that.
If you cannot find the Properties tab go to Windows > Properties
That will open a new window where you can edit the object.
Under Properties edit the color of the image using the drop down and select the color of your choice.
Save the new page (it will automatically change the mood board for you) and Enjoy!
3. Add an image to your mood board:
Select the rectangle or ellipse you would like to add an image to.
On the right-hand side under Properties it will say edit contents > click that.
If you cannot find the Properties tab go to Windows > Properties
That will open a new window where you can edit the object.
Press File > Place Embedded and select the image of your choice
Size the image to your desired style
Select the layer of the rectangle or ellipse (unselect the image layer)
Go to properties and select No Color for the objects fill color (it’s preset to gray)
This will allow the image to be visible once place underneath the object (rectangle or ellipse) layer
Then move the image layer underneath the object layer
4. File > Save a Copy > Save as JPG
